The Boyhood of John Muir | 1998
The story of John Muir, founder of the Sierra Club, whose efforts helped establish Yosemite as a national park. Set in 19th century Wisconsin, Muir spends his early years on a farm. Later, after finding work as a factory foreman in Indiana, he loses his sight. During his convalescence, he reviews his life and decides on a new course for his future, pursuing his love of nature.
