The Cowboy and the Ballerina | 1984
Take one ex-world championship rodeo rider. Add a defecting Russian ballerina. Then introduce Cupid. What you get is this amiable but wafer - thin tale the title of which tells the whole plot -- as with the similarly titled "The Cowboy and the Lady" about which Samuel Goldwyn, ordering up a script to use the talents of Gary Cooper and Merle Oberon, asked, when given the screenplay devised by at least a dozen people, "What's it about?"
