We are just a few months away from the premiere of Netflix’s Gilmore Girls: A Year In the Life! Ever since the Gilmore Girls revival began filming, fans have been gleefully grasping any nugget of information for clues about what our favorite Stars Hallows’ residents are up to these days. From photos from the set to cryptic Instagram pictures, there have been tons of hints. However, we’ve just gotten the biggest hint of all! Entertainment Weekly just revealed the first page from the Gilmore Girls revival script and it is utter perfection.
The Gilmore’s fast talking banter is still very much present, the gazebo has made its appearance, there’s an iconic reference to Gwyneth Paltrow‘s Goop, and it looks like Rory might have been living abroad for the past 9-years. Gilmore Girls: A Year In the Life opens in winter which could mean that Rory has returned home for the holidays, or possibly because of the passing of her beloved grandfather, Richard Gilmore. (Netflix has promised to honor the legacy of the late Edward Herrmann on the show.) We still don’t know a lot about what we’ll see, but one thing is for sure, even though Rory is very much an adult with what we assume is an AMAZING career (seriously where was she coming from that was seven hours away?), the bond between Rory and Lorelai will always be magical.
