The ‘Fuller House’ Cast Hung Out With Jimmy Fallon & Donald Trump?

Jimmy Fallon, Bob Saget, The Tonight Show With Jimmy Fallon, NBC, 021716

Full House was a show known for its sugary sweet family fun, and it seems we can expect that same kind of love from Netflix’s Fuller House. The cast joined Jimmy Fallon on The Tonight Show to try and cheer up Presidential hopeful Donald Trump. (Ok, so it was actually Jimmy Fallon dressed as Trump.) It seems like even Trump isn’t immune to the stresses of the campaign trail, despite all of his dramatic posturing. In the skit, The Tanners find Trump snuggled in Michelle Tanner’s old bed pouting, and they all chip in to try and lift his spirits. When asked why he’s so distraught, Trumpy tells them, “I’m just sad. I’m afraid if I don’t win the nomination, everyone will say I’m a loser.” Danny Tanner the family’s patriarch retorts, “Donald, I know winning is very important to you, but sometimes, it’s OK to lose.” (We completely agree, it would be totally OK for Trump to lose!!) Eventually, Trump came around to the idea of his imminent demise. However, he did say that he was going to stay in the race for now. “I have to stay in the race, otherwise a Clinton will be in the White House again,” he explained. “I mean, who wants to see something from the ’90s come back in 2016?”
