Synopsis

Determined to rebuild her life after the death of her husband, Carolyn Muir, an attractive free-lance magazine writer, moves to Schooner Bay on the coast of New England and into Gull Cottage, which is haunted by the spirit of its nineteenth-century owner, Captain Daniel Gregg. (The Captain reportedly died before he was able to complete his plans for the cottage and is determined to continue with his original goal.) Stories relate Carolyn's efforts to make Gull Cottage her home despite the protests of the Captain.
