Synopsis

The 1977 German film, "The Lost Honor of Katharina Blum," was the basis of veteran television writer Loring Mandel's Americanization of the Heinrich Boll novel. Executive producer Marlo Thomas deglamorized herself to star as an innocent shopkeeper whose life is shattered when she finds herself hounded by police and press after spending the night with Ben Cole (Kris Kristofferson) who, unknown to her, is a suspected terrorist. Filmed entirely on location in Chicago.
