The Quest (08/20/00) | 1999
The Quest team travels to the Caribbean Ocean, where a natural fortress juts from the sea -- the deserted island of Navassa. Over the centuries, people have attempted to settle here, but left only ruins. But nature has flourished and the island crawls with life -- insects, arachnids and reptiles. The team hopes to uncover some of the island's secrets by exploring uncharted caves and diving in the rich waters. They also visit the Dry Tortugas, a cluster of shoals and islands west of the Florida Keys. The Center For Marine Conservation, with the help of the Quest crew, attempt to get a video catalogue of the diverse marine life here. Next, the team travels to Andros Island, the largest island in the Bahamas, as they track an ancient creature that has eluded science -- the Andros iguana.
