A retelling of the classic Robin Hood story, In this Latina-flavored adaptation, Robinita Hood tries to save her village from an evil Sheriff with the help of her faithful band of "Merry Chicas."
Once upon a time, on a bountiful sun-drenched island, the evil Sheriff Juan Jose del Roman de Jamon hoards the riches of the town for himself. Only one thing threatens his greedy reign: Robinita Hood and her three Merry Chicas -- Guillermina Scarlet, Elena Dale and Little Juana -- who take from the rich (los ricos) and give to the poor (los pobres). In their crusade to aid los pobres, Robinita and her crew repeatedly trick the Sheriff out of money and goods. Finally, Sheriff de Jamon decides to turn the tables and organizes an archery contest, offering a golden arrow that once belonged to Robinita's father as the grand prize. Knowing that Robinita, with her superior archery skills, will want to win, he plans to catch her at the competition. However, Robinita's childhood friend Mario gets wind of the plot, enabling her to win the competition, and vanquish the wicked Sheriff once and for all.
