The Rockford Files star Joe Santos has died, aged 84.
Santos played Lt. Dennis Becker on the beloved TV series, and picked up an Emmy nod for his work in 1979.
He suffered a heart attack at his home in Los Angeles on Wednesday (16Mar16) and passed away in a local hospital on Friday morning (18Mar16).
Santos also appeared in TV shows Hardcastle & McCormick, Hill Street Blues, Magnum, P.I. and The Sopranos, in which he portrayed Angelo Garape. He also featured in movies like The Last Boy Scout and Mo’ Money. His final credit was 2015 film Chronic.
