Synopsis

Sara Campbell, America's foremost authority on ways to achieve a relaxed, homespun lifestyle, moves her multi-million dollar empire and television show from Manhattan to a farm in upstate New York. Sara's family consists of her skeptical mother Muriel and her underachieving daughter Freddie. Lucas, the farm's foreman and guardian to his nephew Will and niece Charlotte, finds himself amused, annoyed and attracted to Sara. With the help of her pompous producer Greg, Sara fills a once modest farmhouse with a tangle of satellite trucks, teamsters and her frazzled staff to produce a complicated show about the simple life.
