The Street Critic: Moviegoers Sound Off!

So in honor of St. Patty’s Day, the film that most evokes the flavor of Sinead O’Connor is the one and only:V for Vendetta. Yes, Natalie Portman has temporarily eclipsed our memories of other high profile femme fighters–like the hardcore Sigourney Weaver–who’ve donned a shaven-head for their edgy roles, but there’s good reason. With a marketing campaign that includes: posters, billboards, magazine covers and lots of previews plugged across the airwaves, we’re sure the startling image of the film alone–the eye-catching “V” next to Portman–will gather quite a bevy of interest around this politically charged action-film, based on a graphic novel. With PortmanHugo Weaving and Stephen Rea, the film guarantees a pretty high standard of acting, regardless.

In addition this week, The Devil’s MinerShe’s The Man and the Vin Diesel starrer Find Me Guilty will all find their place on moviegoers’ lists. Let’s catch up with a few folk, and see what they’re into seeing this week:
