The Trouble With Normal | 2000
Bob is a regular guy trying to live an ordinary life. But for Bob and friend Max this is a particular challenge because of the unique perspective they have on the world -- that it's out to get them. Their friend, Claire, a down-to-earth therapist, is trying to convince them that they have nothing to fear. Bob's problems are exacerbated when he becomes convinced that his new next-door neighbor Zack and his buddy Stansfield are spying on him. The catch is, Zack and Stansfield really are spying on Bob. Claire convinces Zack and Stansfield to join Bob and Max in her weekly support group. Through the group, Claire is forced to challenge her own rational approach to life -- including her record on the dating front. Through Claire, the four guys begin to see that there are some things in life that make it worth facing your worst fears.
