Parks & Recreation begins it’s seventh and final season Tuesday (January 13) and we can’t help but already feel a little nostalgic for all the things Leslie Knope and the citizens of Pawnee have given us over the years. We’ll never hear the name “Tammy” and not think of Ron Swanson. We’ll forever use “treat yo’ self” as an excuse to go shopping. And we’ll always ship Leslie and Ben. To use Chris Traeger’s favorite word, we will LITERALLY miss this show so much.
1. Ron Swanson’s mustache.
We’re convinced it contains the secrets to the universe.
2. Jean-Ralphio singing things.
No one was better at setting random sentences to melody.
3. Treat Yo Self.
The best way to justify unnecessary purchases.
4. Jerry being Jerry…or is it Gary?
Wait no, it’s Larry, right?
5. Leslie Knope’s love of waffles.
6. Ben Wyatt’s butt.
Leslie was right, it is a cute butt.
7. Donna’s sass.
At least we still have Retta’s live tweets.
8. April’s sarcasm.
Deep down we know she really did care.
The most successful of Tom’s many business ventures. R.I.P Entertainment 360.
10. Scenes at the Snakehole.
11. LITERALLY every time Chris Traeger said LITERALLY.
Because it was literally the best.
12. The Tammys.
Never was there a more terrifying twosome.
13. Andy’s slapstick.
Chris Pratt will always be loveable dimwit Andy to us, no matter how many big blockbuster movies he stars in.
Burt Macklin, FBI
15. Leslie’s crush on Joe Biden.
Because we’re pretty sure she’s the only one with a crush on Joe Biden.
Apps, tray-trays, and zerts forever.
