This Amazing ‘Stranger Things’ Christmas Special Puts ‘Charlie Brown’ In The Upside Down

Peanut butter and jelly, macaroni and cheese, Stranger Things and…Charlie Brown? Some things just go together, even if it doesn’t make any sense. For some reason, this Stranger Things, Charlie Brown mashup just works. It’s kind of everything we want in a after school Christmas special.

Artists Leigh Lahav and Oren Mendez teamed up to create a Stranger Things Christmas special set in the Peanuts universe. The episode, entitled “Merry Christmas, Will Beyers,” follows Will as he tries desperately to get in the holiday spirit. Things are kind of hard when you pop out of the Upside Down and realize life no longer makes any sense.

After a dance number to the Stranger Things theme song and the realization that his family and friends risked their lives to save him, Will finally understands that the holiday spirit is about appreciating the love around you.
