This Is Us creator Dan Fogelman’s home broken into three times in two weeks – report

Dan Fogelman has reportedly been targeted by burglars for the third time in two weeks.
The This Is Us television producer and screenwriter’s San Fernando Valley home was raided by thieves on two separate occasions earlier this month (Sep18) and, on Thursday, home invaders are believed to have struck again while Fogelman was attending the premiere of his new film, Life Itself.
Sources told TMZ the burglars smashed a window at the back of the house and rummaged through the 39-year-old’s belongings, before triggering the alarm and setting off before police arrived, with officers yet to confirm what was stolen.
The website also reported that Fogelman’s pal and neighbour Steve Carell drove by to check on the situation after cops arrived.
It marks the third time the TV executive has been hit by home invaders in the last two weeks, after thieves broke into his house earlier this month and made off with around $40,000 (£31,000) worth of watches.
Fogelman was then targeted for a second time later that night, when burglars reportedly smashed a window and attempted to break in. Fortunately, the TV executive was home and scared the robbers who fled empty-handed.
According to TMZ, police officers investigating the burglaries believe all three are related.
They mark the latest in a spate of recurring raids in the San Fernando Valley area after Bella Thorne’s Californian pad was allegedly hit by burglars in August, just days after she foiled an attempted break-in at the property.
Christina Milian and her singer boyfriend Matt Pokora, 32, were also the victims of multiple burglaries last month after thieves broke into their San Fernando Valley home twice in four days, making off with over $100,000 (£78,000) worth of jewellery and watches.
