Home Improvement first made our Friday night’s a little bit more fun 25-years ago when it debuted on ABC‘s T.G.I.F lineup. The sitcom launched Tim Allen‘s acting career and focused on the Taylor family, a typical ’90s Detriot suburban family with a house full of boys. It also launched the career of ’90s heartthrob, Jonathan Taylor Thomas. Still, one of the best characters on the sitcom was Brad Taylor, the eldest Taylor son. Portrayed by actor, Zachery Ty Bryan, Brad was popular and athletic, and though he often did things before he thought about them, he was still super lovable.
When Home Improvement wrapped in 1999, Bryan continued acting, appearing in TV series like Boston Public, Buffy the Vampire Slayer, Veronica Mars and Smallville. Most recently, Bryan starred as Thor in the Syfy network film, Thor: Hammer Of The Gods. Earlier this year, US Weekly reported that Bryan teamed up with Johnathan Taylor Thomas and his Home Improvement TV mom Patricia Richardson to write an R-rated pilot which they are currently shopping around.
