Thrill-seeker Ashley Greene loved Toronto’s Edge Walk

Actress Ashley Greene showcased her inner daredevil by hanging off the top of the CN Tower in Toronto, Canada while filming on location.
The Twilight star loves to engage in extreme sports and activities in her downtime, and she and a pal recently signed up to take part in the Edge Walk in Toronto, where she filmed her TV series Rogue.
The experience offers thrill-seekers the chance to step out onto the circumference of the landmark’s roof to enjoy the view from the very top, while being tethered to a harness.
“I was filming in Toronto for Rogue and there is the CN Tower; it’s, like, 170 feet tall,” she explained on U.S. morning show Live! With Kelly and Michael. “I saw these people hanging off the edge of it, and naturally, I was like, ‘That looks like something I would want to do’. It was super fun…”
However, Ashley admits she was a little taken aback by one of the safety procedures in place at the venue.
“Before we went up there, they were like, ‘We’re gonna need you to take a breathalyser (test)’, and I was like, ‘Um, excuse me?’. They were like, ‘Well, it’s really high and we don’t need drunk people up there’. I was like, ‘Wow, this is more serious than I thought!’ They let me on. I was like, ‘I think we had a beer at lunch, I don’t know if they’re gonna let us on…’ But it was really fun, it was exhilarating. I love stuff like that.”
While the 29-year-old loves living life on the edge, her mum Michele isn’t such a fan, with Ashley admitting her extreme hobbies make her mother “very nervous”.
“Anything that you have to be strapped in for, sign me up!” she laughed.
The actress also loves to stay active when she’s not working and she incorporates trapeze work and hiking into her regular exercise routines, as well as a new gym class, in which she uses a specialised vertical climbing machine for a full body workout.
“I do this crazy VersaClimber class that my trainer just started,” she said. “You climb 4,000 feet… It’s really fun. It’s 30 minutes, but it’s 4,000 feet you climb and it’s awesome.”
