Tori Spelling Going ‘Home’ to ‘Beverly Hills, 90210’ Spinoff

Actress Tori Spelling‘s wish to reprise her role in hit TV show Beverly Hills, 90210 has been granted–she will return to the part that shot her to fame in a new spinoff series.

The star–whose late father, TV producer Aaron Spelling, created the original show–has finally confirmed rumors that she will be joining her pal Jennie Garth, who plays Kelly Taylor, in the forthcoming program.

And she is excited at the prospect of returning “home” to see what happens to her character Donna Martin, who was last seen marrying her high school sweetheart David Silver in the 2000 series finale.

According to a show representative, Martin will “own one of the coolest stores in Beverly Hills,” reports People.com.

Spelling says, “Donna Martin was such a huge part of my life. It’s going to be so fun to work with Jennie (Garth) again and see where Donna is today.

“Donna loved designing and wanted a career in fashion. It’ll be fun to explore that storyline. And I’m sure fans will be dying to know if she’s still married to David!

“When they say you can’t go home again, it’s not true. I’m headed back to the zip code I know best and couldn’t be happier!”
