National Lampoon’s Vacation airs Saturday at 9/8c on Bravo
On an unusually quiet night for television–and for those of you who aren’t rabid fans of college football, nor addicted to watching Dateline catch internet sexual predators–tune into Bravo to take in the timeless family road trip comedy classic, National Lampoon’s Vacation.
Any day now you’ll start to see Christmas Vacation popping up on random cable stations, but at the moment, it’s still time to cling onto summer and head into some cross-country misadventures with the Griswolds, led by Chevy Chase’s memorably chipper super-dad. Walley World is in clear sight, Edna is starting to decompose in the backseat, and Cousin Eddie is waiting for company for one of his special barbeques…you know the rest.
And to bring your low-brow guffawing experience full circle, on this its opening weekend, you can also catch the latest outing by the sequel-making satirists, National Lampoon’s Van Wilder: the Rise of Taj at a theater near you.
