As Barney Stinson would say, “Suit up!” USA Network has renewed their hit drama Suits for a third season. This news is not very shocking due to Suits’ fantastic ratings this past summer. The show attracted 6.5 million views for its August finale and was the summer’s highest rated cable drama in adults 18-49. Not too shabby!

The series, starring Gabriel Macht and Patrick J. Adams, will return in January with six additional episodes to wrap up their second season and the third season will feature 16 sure-to-be amazing episodes.

“Quite simply, Suits is as good as it gets,” USA Network co-presidents Chris McCumber and Jeff Wachtel said in a statement announcing the renewal. “Sophisticated storytelling, sharp dialogue, and award-worthy performances make this show a cornerstone of our original programming lineup.”
