How do you excite a Hollywood.com TV editor? Put Jason Segel on SNL. It’s really that simple.
When I heard one of my favorite funnymen would be hosting the sketch show to coincide with the release of his reincarnation of The Muppets – which I also love – I was about as excited as Animal that time he played drums with Buddy Rich. There’s nothing spectactular about these promos for the Nov. 19 episode of SNL except that Segel is involved and he’s his usual charming, lovable self alongside featured player Vanessa Bayer, who’s pretty cool. And hey, there’s nothing like a little Segel to get you through the midweek blues.
