Warlord: Drugs in the Golden Triangle | 2001
Documentary examining the Asian sector of the international drug world, including an interview by Bill Curtis with Chairman Bao at his base in Bangsan, Myanmar. Curtis also visits Thailand, where he and his crew witness U.S. Drug Enforcement Administration agents and the Thai military patrol border territory. In China, Curtis takes a look at new drug rehabilitation programs. The documentary also examines the results of Asian drug trafficking in the United States, following a young American heroin addict who lives on the streets and uses money from prostitution to buy her drugs.
