Was Your Favorite Show Renewed or Canceled?

This is the time of year where your favorite shows are either given another chance or taken out back and shot Old Yeller style. While we mourn the shows that were taken from us too soon (RIP Firefly), check out below to see if your favorite shows were renewed or canceled this year.

1
Renewed
FBI agent Alex Parrish (Priyanka Chopra) will continue to unravel the secrets that her fellow agents are hiding into this thriller series' second season! Clearly television shows with women of color as leads continue to slay for ABC.

Canceled
Despite The Grinder's amazing review, Rob Lowe and Fred Savage just couldn't bring in the views as two lawyers (one real and another just on TV), so FOX has decided to cancel the series.
3
Renewed & Moving To The CW
Supergirl should have never been on CBS in the first place, it's just not the right demographic for the series. Luckily the show will be joining The CW when it returns for the fall, along with its fellow DC Comics superhero series. We're not sure why this wasn't done from day one.

5
Renewed
Despite it's rapidly falling ratings, the hip-hop drama Empire will be back for season three on FOX, we're just not sure that star Jussie Smollett, who plays Jamal Lyon will be back as well.
6

Everyone saw this coming! When two co-stars famously can't get along, and the series kills of one co-lead which drew ire from the series' fan-base, Castle didn't need another season.

Supernatural headlines The CW's 11 renewed shows. Last year, Supernatural became the longest running science-fiction show in American history (passing Smallville) and the CW mainstay is headed for its 12 (and likely final) season next year.
9

What The Goldbergs is to the 1980s, Fresh Off the Boat is to the 1990s. The show is a nostalgia indulgence, referencing everything from 90s hip hop to Shaq Fu. Fresh Off the Boat is already the longest running sitcom about an Asian-American family in American television history and it will have a chance to extend that record next season.
