The story of how Bruce Wayne became Batman, AKA Gotham rounded out its fourth season, and it was a wild one. Season 4 focused more on the villains that the Dark Knight faced in film, tv, and the comics. There were some returns to the series, including one that likes to put a smile on everyone’s face. As always we had James Gordon (Ben Mckenzie, Harvey Bullock (Donal Logue), Bruce Wayne (David Mazouz), Lee Thompkins (Morena Baccarin), and Alfred (Sean Pertwee), and on the villain side Penguin (Robin Lord Taylor), The Riddler (Cory Michael Smith), and introducing this season Ra’s al Ghul (Alexander Siddig), Pyg (Michael Cerveris) and more.
The above clip might seem a little strange. Its taken from the Fall Season finale, Episode 11 called “Queen Takes Knight”. As the episode title suggests, things aren’t good for the future caped crusader, and that means things aren’t good for James Gordon, and things are always James Gordon’s fault (or having to do with him). Bullock wants to arrest Penguin, while Gordon knows Penguin is deep in the pockets of the judges, and basically, he will get away with everything. Fast forward to the end of the episode, and Gordon got both Pyg and Penguin without Bullock. Bullock sees he’s not needed and turns in his badge and gun. Which is why we see him in the clip not caring that a police car is on fire.
