Here’s the thing about covering Adele songs: she is her songs. Half the reason they’re so good is the fact that she puts so much emotion into it. So, even when really talented singers try to cover her stuff, it just doesn’t work. Enter this sneak peek of tonight’s Glee prom episode. Jesse and Rachel apparently express their angsty relationship with “Rolling in the Deep,” and it’s not great. To be fair though, no one but Adele could make it great.
