When NBC’s Today says goodbye to one of their own, they do it big. Today was Meredith Vieira’s last day on the popular morning show and from video montages set to Bruno Mars and Lady Gaga to the last time she’ll say “Good Morning” on Today to sincere goodbyes from her teammates to a serenade from Carole King, it seems like the farewell party on Today was a pretty amazing one.
Personally, I watch about 15 minutes of the Today Show so I can see the weather before I run to work, but even I have to admit, these little tributes got to me. Damn that Bruno Mars and his saccharine sweet pop songs, oh and Meredith’s serious water works didn’t hurt either.
