Just when Westeros and Game of Thrones thought they had HBO on lock, Westworld just came through to change the game. Back in 2011, Game Of Thrones boasted the most watched first season of any series in HBO history with only 2.52 million people tuning in for the first ten-episodes. (Admittedly, we didn’t even know about Game Of Thrones until it was gearing up for it’s second season, so we weren’t apart of the two and a half million.)

However, Westworld has just averaged 12 million viewers across its ten-episodes. Though HBO GO and HBO NOW were pretty much non-existent when Game Of Thrones initally hit our TV screens it’s still a huge boast for Westworld fans who are eagerly awaiting season two of the series.

Unfortunately fans are going to have to wait a bit longer since, the second season of Westworld wont’t premiere until 2018. Do you love Westworld or GoT more? Let us know in the comments below.
