A spokesman for the Canadian company that took over New York’s Shooting Gallery film company last month has denied a report that appeared in Daily Variety Tuesday that the company is likely to shut down because of heavy debt. Michael O’Connor Clarke, a spokesman for Toronto-based Itemis, which acquired the Shooting Gallery on May 1, said that although it was in “a tight spot,” it was not considering folding up.
