CBS is developing a hidden camera show with The Price Is Right host Drew Carey and producer Tom Forman.
The project, entitled WTF! — which stands for “Wow That’s Funny!” — sees Carey and a troupe of comedic agents wreak havoc in public places, according to The Hollywood Reporter. (WTF! is said to be a working title, which begs the question of whether CBS expects to run into the same kind of moniker concerns as it has with the comedy project based on the Twitter account, Shit My Dad Says.)
WTF, says THR, combines a hidden-camera show with flash-mob tactics as the group pulls benevolent pranks on deserving citizens.
A pilot was shot this weekend.
Raquel Prods., in association with RelativityReal, will produce WTF! with Jay Blumenfeld, Tony Marsh and Charlie Todd joining Carey and Forman as executive producers.
