Grissom investigates the case of a man believed to be a suicide at the hands of a bullet wound, but comes to believe that the man may have been murdered. Nick looks into the murder of a man who ended up at the violent mercy of a hooker, while Warrick and Catherine examine a man who was shot entering a house. Nick and Warrick try to solve their cases to reach the next level of CSI, but Nick finds himself in a serious bind when he ends up keeping tabs on the latest CSI member.
