Episode 
Rory is crushed when Logan reciprocates her help with his school newspaper article by not inviting her to be his date at a prestigious book-signing affair. Richard accidentally hits Emily's car from behind when he spots her with a new beau, which acts as a catalyst for the two to reconcile after he is forced to give her a ride home. Meanwhile, Emily tries to put the pressure on Christopher to pursue Lorelai by telling him she is very serious about Luke.
