Meet Kevin Johnson

Episode

Locke holds a meeting for everyone in the barracks including Ben and Miles. Miles explains that his people are there for Ben. Ben says that once they capture him, they will kill everyone on the island. He also admits that Michael is his spy on the boat. After the meeting, Ben gives Alex, Karl, and Rousseau a map to the Temple and tells them to go there to join the Others so they will be safe. He worries that they will target Alex if they learn she's his daughter. On the freighter, Sayid and Desmond ask Michael why he's there. In a flashback, we see Michael crashing his car trying to commit suicide. He wakes up in a hospital after having a nightmare of the dead Libby bringing him blankets. After leaving the hospital, he goes to visit his mother who is looking after Walt. She is upset that Michael came back from a plane crash without giving her any information about where he was and not letting her call him or Walt by their real names. She won't allow him to see Walt, but Walt does appear for a moment in the window as Michael walks away. Michael goes to a pawn shop, gets a gun, and is prepares to shoot himself in an alley when he is interrupted by Tom of the Others. Tom tells him that the island won't let him kill himself, and that Michael should contact him when he's ready to talk. Michael goes to a motel room and tries to kill himself, but the gun won't work. He gets ready to do it again, but is interrupted by the news of Oceanic 815 being found underwater. He goes to visit Tom, and Tom explains that the underwater 815 was staged by Charles Widmore. He tells Michael about the freighter, gives him his fake Kevin Johnson passport, and tells him to go undercover to redeem himself by killing all the freighter people before they can go to the island and kill the castaways. Michael agrees to go. He receives a "care package" on the boat which is really a bomb to destroy the boat. After he activates it, it doesnt explode but a note pops out that reads "Not Yet." Later, he is told that he has a call from Walt, but it's really Ben. Ben explains that instead of blowing up everyone - even the innocent people - he wants Michael to compile a list of everyone on board, and then destroy the radio and the engine to cripple the ship. Back in the present, Sayid is furious that Michael is working for Ben. He drags Michael into the captain's quarters and tells him the truth about Michael, blowing his cover. Back in the jungle, Alex, Karl, and Rousseau are traveling to the sanctuary when suddenly bullets fly through the air, killing Karl and Rousseau. Alex stands up and screams out that she's Ben's daughter.
