Francis takes care of the boys when Lois and Hal take a break for a wedding. In an effort to get Francis back from military school permanently, the boys band together to avoid wreaking havoc. Francis's friends show up to party and Malcolm injures himself trying to clean up after them. Malcolm turns to Caroline to cover the medical cost. When Lois and Hal return and find things in order, they believe that military school is the solution and send him back.
