In the final elimination leg of the race, the four remaining teams blazed a trail across New Zealand. They jockeyed for position on a tight ferry ride, rappelled into the abyss of "The Lost World," and off-roaded in ATVs across rugged terrain. Tara & Wil became embroiled in early arguments, but managed to grab the Fast Forward in the pit of a volcano, landing them in first place. Oswald & Danny fought back from an early defeat at the ferry landing, but found themselves on the losing end of a tight race to the Pit Stop with Chris & Alex, as they became the eighth team to be eliminated from the race.
