Melinda's surroundings continue to change into jungle-like circumstances as a ghost tries to send her a message. Unfortunately, the ghost is plagued by a horrible condition that limits his speech and makes it difficult for Melinda to determine his needs. After a visit to Professor Payne links him to the ghost, he heatedly questions Melinda's motives for her intuitive inquiries.
