Sandy tries to win over Kirsten with Valentine's gifts, but she still stings over his keeping Rebecca a secret from her. Zach, Summer and Seth take a field trip to San Diego to try and get the comic book made. Seth, however, wants to use the trip to get back together with Summer. Ryan's desire to spend Valentine's Day with Lindsay is thwarted by Caleb, so he challenges Caleb to a game of pool. Rebecca decides to leave town after her father dies.
