When an ultrasound reveals strange growths on the skull of her fetus, a woman has a nightmare in which a demonic creature steals her baby. She awakes next to her husband only to discover herself covered in blood and no longer pregnant. Mulder determines that the husband is a demon who has been impregnating women for years trying to have a normal human child... until he meets a woman more evil than he is.
