A highlight of the week's events, including: Jennifer intercepts Josh’s gift to Emma and keeps it for herself; Theodore intercepts some of Josh’s expensive and unapproved orders meant to improve The Tides; Emma reveals that once married, she inherits everything and Brooke receives nothing; Blythe and Brooke have lunch together and share their ability to read people, with the elder giving some pointers to the youth; Emma confronts Theodore about her paternity, and he begs her to let him be the one to tell Brooke; Theodore has a heart attack; Madeleine finds Theodore and manages to get him to a hospital; Emma tells Edward about her paternity situation and her inheritance, which he hopes to use to his advantage; Emma and Theodore decide to keep the truth from Brooke a little longer; and, Josh and Emma have a confrontation at the hospital, but she rejects him once more; Josh tries to make amends with Theodore but instead learns of his prior relationship with Blythe; Josh meets with Madeleine and learns more about Theodore and Blythe’s relationship; Blythe and Hope resort to fisticuffs in a dress boutique; Taylor looks into Aaron’s background and becomes suspicious of Aaron from what he finds; Lani tells Taylor that The Tides is in danger of being bought out; and, Taylor discovers the financial records Aaron has been concealing; Josh doggedly pursues the truth after he suspects something is amiss with his mother, his brother and the Crawford’s. He leans on Lani for information and searches Aaron’s place for clues, and discovers there a folder containing some of Blythe and Aaron’s plan; The banks come calling for their money, leaving Theo and Taylor grasping for straws; Josh brings Emma information about his mother’s involvement in The Tides’ collapse. A bank comes forward with a generous offer: an unknown benefactor agrees to pay off debt to the other two banks provided the benefactor receives 51% control of The Tides. That unknown benefactor: Blythe Hunter.
