When his father dies, Leslie moves back home to take over the grocery store his father owned. When he arrives, he finds out that his father was going to sell the store to a competitor, but Leslie decides to keep the store.
Greens & Grains sales are down, and manager Leslie Pool needs to find a way to attract new customers. When a water stain on the wall near the entrance to the store appears to be the likeness of Jesus, Leslie sees nothing but dollar signs.
Because the store is having some financial difficulties, Leslie announces that they have to either eliminate health insurance all together or fire one employee.
Leslie wants to join the Bisons, a local social fraternity, but he has to bring a date to a Bisons dinner. He tries to ask out a customer, but when that fails he convinces Ingrid to go with him.
Bagger Buck and cashier Richard consider themselves the best bagging team in the region and are upset to learn that the Super Value Mart claims to have a top team of its own. Leslie and Amy decide the teams should compete in a bagging competition, but Buck doesn't want to participate so Ingrid is going to fill in, but Buck shows up to save the day.
