Season 7 Episodes
Episode 1. Monkey Business (Part 1) (Air Date: 09/16/2002)

Kevin is now living in the garage apartment, working at the Glen Oak Police Department and is madly in love with Lucy. Kevin invites his gorgeous new rookie partner, Roxanne, over to meet Lucy.


Eric is having problems both convincing Mary to leave her older boyfriend or staying out of her business. He starts getting complaints from the church parishioners about the strange behavior of both Eric and the Camden children.

Episode 3. The Enemy Within (Air Date: 09/30/2002)

The father of Mary's older pilot boyfriend pays a visit to Eric and Annie with the accusation that Mary has seduced his son. Ruthie ends up in the principal's office after a disagreement with a classmate.

Episode 4. Bowling For Eric (Air Date: 10/07/2002)

Eric tries to break the news to his family that he needs to have double bypass surgery. He gathers the family together to break the news but panics and takes everyone bowling instead. Annie becomes suspicious of his motives when Eric's brother-in-law shows up. Meanwhile, Lucy drills Kevin about his past history with other women.

Episode 5. The Heart of the Matter (Air Date: 10/14/2002)

The Camden clan rallies around Eric when he goes into the hospital for his heart condition. Mary and Matt are conspicuously missing, something that bothers Simon. Meanwhile, Lucy decides that she is ready to marry Kevin but he refuses to propose until he has Eric's blessing.

Episode 6. Regarding Eric (Air Date: 10/21/2002)

Annie encourages the children to go to Eric for advice so that he feels needed. Lucy helps a friend with a developmental disability persuade his parents to allow him to join a traveling troupe of puppeteers.


The church is left in the hands of a new pastor while Eric recovers from his operation. The Colonel sends a house keeper to restore order to the Camden household.

Episode 8. Peer Pressure (Air Date: 11/11/2002)

After Eric informs Rabbi Glass that the church hired a replacement, he convinces the Rabbi to spy on the new minister. They end up at the emergency room when Rabbi Glass thinks he's having a heart attack. Simon goes on a ride along with Kevin and Roxanne and meets Kevin's ex-wife. Ruthie gets caught dancing with her new boyfriend when she was supposed to be watching the twins.

Episode 9. Lost Souls (Air Date: 11/18/2002)

Lucy sees Roxanne and Kevin dancing and runs off. She runs into Chandler and decides to talk out her feelings with him. Kevin worries when he doesn't see Lucy at the pool hall and ropes Simon and Cecilia to help find her. Eric decides that he's no longer right for the ministry and quits.

Episode 10. A Cry for Help (Air Date: 11/25/2002)

Without consulting Annie, Eric takes a job as a DJ at a local radio station. Things get stressful pretty fast when a young man calls in claiming he's going to commit suicide. Roxanne can't take the arguments and tells Kevin to get a new partner. Ruthie tries to figure out a way to breakup with her boyfriend without making him cry. Ben is back in town and trying to find antoher girlfriend. Featured Music: ATB

Episode 11. Sunday (Air Date: 01/06/2003)

To Lucy's consternation, Roxanne goes to church with an obvious interest in Chandler during his first sermon. Eric has stayed home from church to complete a novel and Ann is disappointed when she learns its content. Simon and Cecilia think they should have sex at some point in their relationship and decide to ask their parents.

Episode 12. Back in the Saddle Again (Air Date: 01/20/2003)

Ruthie wants to give up riding horses until she meets a new girl who teaches her an important lesson about facing challenges. She's later shocked to learn that her new friend, Katelyn, suffers from cystic fibrosis.

Episode 13. It's Not Always About You (Air Date: 01/27/2003)

Cecilia is unhappy about her parents involvement in every aspect of her life. Annie wants to know how the therapy sessions are going for Eric and to put her at ease, he invites her to a session.

Episode 14. Smoking (Air Date: 02/03/2003)

Eric tries to help Chandler after he learns that his father is dying of lung cancer. Chandler is angry that Eric is trying to push his way into Chandler's life after spending so many months being angry. Lucy accepts a date with Chandler's chain-smoking tattooed twin brother to make Kevin jealous. Ruthie learns one of her friends smokes and tries to convince him why it's a bad habit.

Episode 15. I Love Lucy (Air Date: 02/10/2003)

Kevin has planned this romantic Valentine's evening and Lucy doesn't want to go. Her family convinces her to get dressed and go anyway. Turns out, Kevin had put together a private party including jazz legend, Bobby Short. Kevin proposes. Among the party goers is Kevin's mom, who's planning a wedding of her own. Kevin convinces Lucy not to have a long engagement and sets the wedding for April.

Episode 16. Stand Up (Air Date: 02/17/2003)

Eric and Annie are ruining Lucy's wedding plans, so Kevin finally convinces Lucy to stand up for what she wants. Simon catches a family friend of his girlfriend stealing from petty cash. Roxanne's policeman father tries to bully Chandler into ending his relationship with Roxanne. Ben loses his rescue dog and tries to pass off another one to his chief.

Episode 17. High Anxiety (Air Date: 02/24/2003)

Eric and Annie counsel two friends, a married couple, by using their own recent marital troubles as a point of reference. Meanwhile, Kevin is furious when Lucy considers quitting school to concentrate on plans for their wedding.

Episode 18. We Do (Air Date: 04/21/2003)

A serious storm threatens to cancel the wedding, but Lucy and Kevin decide to go ahead. Matt and Mary manage to get the last flight out and make it in time. Roxanne and Chandler get into a fight with Ben and his mother after they pick them up from the airport.


Reverend Camden and Chandler team up with Mrs. Bink to help raise money to fix the church's roof. Ruthie's boyfriend, Peter, thinks his mother's boyfriend may be hiding something, and the twins are taking money from their parents' bedroom. Meanwhile, Roxanne and Lucy go out for a night on the town together during which time Lucy reveals all about married life.

Episode 20. Dick (Part 2) (Air Date: 05/05/2003)

Eric sits down with Ruthie's boyfriend Peter, his mother, and her fiance, Dick, to deal with Peter's increasing suspicions about Dick. Roxanne tries to get Chandler to go visit his ailing father. Chandler, meanwhile, offers counseling to a troubled pre-marital couple, while Cecilia admits she would rather her parents not renew their own marriage vows.

Episode 21. Life and Death (Part 1) (Air Date: 05/12/2003)

Eric goes to New York to try to get Chandler's ailing father to reconcile with Chandler. Lucy opens her doors to a classmate in need of a place to stay, while Mary looks to make a confession to Eric. Matt learns that Sarah thinks she may be pregnant, and Lucy grows distant with Kevin when she fears she also may be pregnant. Meanwhile, Simon can't understand why Cecilia has turned him down for the prom, and Ruthie's acting a little strange.

Episode 22. Life and Death (Part 2) (Air Date: 05/19/2003)

Eric is unable to convince Chandler's father to see his son before he passes away, and is forced to use some trickery to reunite the two. Meanwhile, he and Annie, along with Sarah's mother, plan to surprise Matt upon hearing that Sarah is going to have a baby, and Mary tells a secret to Lucy in confidence.
