Season 6 Episodes
Episode 1. The Punch (Air Date: 01/03/2007)

Jim thinks Cheryl has been spoiling their son Kyle for way too long, so he decides to teach him how to throw a perfect punch in self defense. Unfortunately, things get out of control when little Kyle gets suspended for hitting the school bully.

Episode 2. The Flannelsexual (Air Date: 01/03/2007)

Jim learns that Cheryl wants him to come to Dana's co-ed baby shower. Then, mistaken for someone else, Jim accidently ends up on a talk show claiming that men shouldn't let women feminize them.

Episode 3. Guinea Pygmalion (Air Date: 01/10/2007)

The family pet guinea pig swallows an eraser that blocks his intestines. Jim pays for the expensive surgery, but his family thinks that Jim just switched the guinea pig with a new one from the pet store.

Episode 4. Hoosier Daddy (Air Date: 01/10/2007)

Cheryl and Jim celebrate their fifteenth wedding anniversary. They open letters that they wrote to themselves back on their one year anniversary. After reading Jim's, they decide to spend their anniversary in a motel in Indiana. Unfortunately, Dana's possible labor and a tornado interfere.

Episode 5. Good Grief (Air Date: 01/17/2007)

Cheryl's Uncle Donald dies. Jim takes over housekeeping duties and lets her grieve for over two weeks. However, he soon begins to wonder if Cheryl is using him.

Episode 6. All The Rage (Air Date: 01/17/2007)

After Jim's anger gets the best of him, Jim is forced to attend an anger-management class.

Episode 7. Cheryl Gone Wild (Air Date: 01/24/2007)

Jim, Ryan and Andy are stunned when they discover that Cheryl and Dana recently appeared in a Chicks Gone Wild video.

Episode 8. Deliverance (Air Date: 01/31/2007)

Ryan gets an opportunity to deliver a celebrity's baby in Africa, five weeks before Dana's due date. Unfortunately, Dana goes into premature labor and Jim has to be with her at the hospital.

Episode 9. Dino-Mite (Air Date: 02/28/2007)

Dana and Cheryl hesitantly entrust Ryan and Jim to watch the kids and baby Tanner while they have a girls' night out. But Jim sneaks the brood into the museum after hours to see the dinosaur exhibit, and their shenanigans result in the destruction of the Tyrannosaurus Rex display.

Episode 10. Separate Ways (Air Date: 03/07/2007)

Dana and baby Tanner are still staying with Jim and Cheryl while Ryan is away, but Tanner's crying is keeping Jim up all night. Cheryl convinces Jim to stay over at Andy's. The guys enjoy some male bonding while Cheryl and Dana secretly enjoy their pampering girl time without Jim around. All is perfect - until Ryan returns

Episode 11. In Case of Jimergency (Air Date: 03/14/2007)

Jim's health insurance is cancelled after he argues with a claims representative about his bill, but he doesn't tell Cheryl. When Cheryl gets a cold, Andy convinces Jim to buy tropical fish antibiotics at a pet store to prevent Cheryl from going to a doctor. The pills work and she improves. But when Jim catches Cheryl's cold and takes the same fish pills, he has an allergic reaction. Then Cheryl discovers the truth about the health insurance.

Episode 12. Coach Jim (Air Date: 03/28/2007)

Jim coaches his daughters' wimpy, non-competitive basketball team and turns them into tough, aggressive winners.

Episode 13. The At-Bat (Air Date: 04/04/2007)

Jim's repeated bad advice to Kyle during a baseball game is thrown back in his face when the Ghost of Andy gives him a glimpse of a future Kyle as a loser because of Jim's failed attempts to help his son on that fateful day.

Episode 14. What Lies Beneath (Air Date: 04/18/2007)

When Andy buys a metal detector, he unearths Jim's wedding ring -- which has been lost for over a year. Unbeknownst to Cheryl, Jim has been wearing a fake ring all along, hoping she would not notice.

Episode 15. The Grill II (Air Date: 04/25/2007)

Andy's attempt to sell a grill that Jim gave him a few years ago results in a wildly destructive tug-of-war between the two.

Episode 16. Devlin in Disguise (Air Date: 05/02/2007)

When Tim and Cindy Devlin crash Gracie's birthday party, they announce they are getting divorced. Soon thereafter, Cindy and Andy become an item -- resulting in Jim and Cheryl plotting to break the two up.

Episode 17. Any Man of Mine (Air Date: 05/09/2007)

To avoid attending another musical with Cheryl, Jim finds Cheryl a gay male friend to accompany her. It goes well until his boyfriend breaks up with him. Then Jim must pretend to be his new boyfriend to try and make the old one jealous.

Episode 18. Jim's Birthday (Air Date: 05/16/2007)

Jim is turning 50 and does not want a birthday party, but Cheryl, not believing him, throws him a surprise party which he deliberately sabotages. Later, Jim confesses to Cheryl an event that scarred him for life.
