Episode 1. The Hair Down There (Air Date: 10/01/06)

Robert gives Neesee the letter he wrote to her before the divorce but she never received, and is confused when she doesn't even mention it after reading it. Meanwhile, Dirk's daughter (Laivan Greene) arrives to stay with him while her mom's on vacation. Dr. Shapiro: Denise Dowse.

Episode 2. Trojan Condo (Air Date: 10/08/06)

When Neesee tells Robert she's put a deposit on a condo, he assumes incorrectly that she's moving out right away and invites visiting Carmen to move in temporarily. Meanwhile, Dirk tries to adjust to being a parent. Courtney: Laivan Greene. Carmen: Tisha Campbell-Martin.

Episode 3. Police...Open Up (Air Date: 10/16/06)

When Bobby makes a prank 911 call, Robert takes his son to the police station to scare the boy and ends up getting arrested for something he did in his past. Later, Bobby's scared when a police officer comes to his school for career day.

Episode 4. Love Do Cost a Thing (Air Date: 10/22/06)

At a charity bachelor auction, Neesee wins a bid on a handsome doctor (Charles Malik Whitfield), while Robert is claimed by a mystery woman; and Dirk has to spend a day with Bobby when nobody bids for him.

Episode 5. Pretty Woman (Air Date: 10/30/06)

Robert has to decide whether to continue dating a woman (Chrystee Pharris) when he's told a surprising secret about her. Meanwhile, Bobby befriends a girl who other schoolmates think is strange. Betty: Nakia Burrise. Hostess: Rayna Tharani.


Robert and Carmen celebrate their father's 60th birthday and discover a startling family secret. Meanwhile, Neesee helps Courtney prepare for a school dance. Earl: Glynn Turman. Dr. Thomas Dixon: Gordon Greene. Ashley: Hannah Schneider.


Robert has an identity crisis after his dad (Glynn Turman) stuns him with news about his family history, prompting him to search out an estranged relative (Richard Lawson) in Las Vegas to help him come to terms with his personal dilemma. Deke: Brandon Smith.

Episode 8. My Two Dads (Air Date: 11/20/06)

After learning that his biological father (Richard Lawson) is gay, Robert keeps it a secret, but a surprise visit from his dad and his partner on Thanksgiving makes for an eventful holiday. Roosevelt: John Wesley. Marvella: Vanessa Bell Calloway. Earl: Glynn Turman.


Robert tells Bobby he can't go to his Fireside Kids jamboree for being disrespectful to Dirk, but Neesee thinks the punishment is too harsh and takes Bobby on the trip behind Robert's back. Meanwhile, Courtney introduces her boyfriend (Brandon Smith) to Dirk. Renee: Desiree Coleman-Jackson.


When Bobby expresses disappointment over his Christmas gifts, Robert and Neesee decide to give his toys to an orphanage to teach their son a lesson. Meanwhile, Dirk spends his first holiday with Courtney.


Robert is ecstatic when peewee indoor football begins for Bobby, but is flustered when the boy comes home and announces he's a cheerleader. David: Josh Wolf.

Episode 12. The B-R-E-A-K-U-P (Air Date: 01/29/07)

Neesee comes from the wedding of a friend who found happiness with an overweight man, and she vows to accept a date from the next man who asks her out---which turns out to be a very short man who works with Robert. Greg: Kevin Hart. Jewel: Tasha Smith.


Neesee's condo is ready, but Bobby objects to being shuffled between both homes so, for his sake, Robert and Neesee decide to take turns living in the condo. Meanwhile, Courtney has a crush on an older man who works with Dirk. Kenny: Caleeb Pinkett.


Bobby cheats on an aptitude test and then gets more than he bargained for when he's asked to take part in an annual academic competition. Meanwhile, Neesee's new friend (Toni Trucks) sets her up on a date, but Neesee discovers that the man has a strange fetish.


A store manager catches Bobby stealing sneakers, which he wanted so he could fit in with the popular kids at school. Meanwhile, Neesee babysits her neighbor's newborn niece and realizes how much she enjoys caring again for an infant. Michelle: Toni Trucks. Brenda: Kristina Hayes.

Episode 16. He's Got Game (Air Date: 02/26/07)

Robert and Neesee host a 15th college reunion, and Robert tries to settle an old score with a former basketball teammate. He also hooks up with a former professor (Victoria Rowell) he once had a crush on.


Neesee wants a baby and goes to a fertility clinic to find potential sperm donors, and then she decides to meet the man she's chosen. Meanwhile, Robert and Dirk spend the night trying to pick up women. Jill: Danielle Nicolet. Hutch: Dwayne Adway. Merv: Lamont Clayton.

Episode 18. The Boy Is Mine (Air Date: 03/26/07)

Neesee gets angry when her boyfriend (James Black) and Robert become friends and start hanging out together; and Dirk refuses to talk to Robert after an on-screen fight. Jill Mira: Danielle Nicolet.


Dirk thinks he was wrongfully terminated, so he sues Robert and the show. Meanwhile, Neesee tells Ben (James Black) that their meeting wasn't by chance, and that she wanted to meet the sperm donor she chose at the clinic.

Episode 20. Sins of the Father (Air Date: 04/30/07)

When Robert begins spending time with a single mom and her son (Meagan Good, Trey Carlisle), Bobby feels neglected. Meanwhile, Dirk doesn't know how to comfort Courtney after a breakup, so he asks Neesee for help.


Neesee prepares for artificial insemination and Robert finds out about her plan. Meanwhile, Robert's relationship with Katie (Meagan Good) is tested when her ex moves back in with her temporarily. Michelle: Toni Trucks. Dr. Tate: Judy Otto.

Episode 22. The Wedding Singers (Air Date: 05/14/07)

Neesee asks Robert to join her in Turks and Caicos for her mother's wedding, where the pair are mistaken for Beyoncé and Jay-Z; and they make a decision regarding a second child that may change their relationship.
