The remaining twelve models receive their makeovers and speak with Jay Manuel during their transformations about identifying their unique look. This is put to the test with a clothing challenge where they must interpret their unique style through wardrobe. For the photoshoot, the contestants pose with ice sculptures and the results are varied. Wendy is eliminated for lack of focus.
The eleven remaining models practice their runway skills while sharing the runway with cockroaches. Jade wins the challenge after kissing a cockroach at the end of her walk and wins a trip to a Los Angeles Fashion Week show.
Janice Dickinson gives the models lessons on commercial and high fashion posing. Their challenge is to model for a Sears catalogue using the four seasons as their backdrop.
The contestants' challenge this episode is centered around acting and inprov after they attend a workshop at The Groundlings. The winner receives a guest spot on the tv show 'Veronica Mars' and the chance to tape a public service announcement. Instead of a photoshoot, the girls each shoot a commercial for Cover Girl. Mollie Sue is elminated for her lack of persona in front of the panel.
The models have to showcase their new runway skills in a church fashion show where the winners receive expensive diamond jewelry. Tensions build at the house over phone use and one usually docile girl lashes out. The photoshoot requires the girls to 'krump' for a Payless shoes advertisement. Even though her photos are good, Leslie is eliminated for not being more of a model in person and on the runway.
The girls' composure is challenged by a harsh critique given to each of them by an actress pretending to be an agent. The model who took the criticism without letting it affect her negatively wins a visit from a loved one.
The six remaining contestants are coached on how to deal with the press and answer tricky questions. The girls are then told that they are heading to Bangkok for the remainder of the competition. For the photoshoot, the girls must pose hanging upside down from nets, dressed as mermaids, over top of an open air market. A surprise elimination shows original frontrunner Nnenna being eliminated for not improving her work.
This episode re-caps all that has transpired on Cycle 6 up to this point in the competition, showing more footage of the girls and their interactions.
The final five compete in a dance challenge where their perform an intricate Thai dance they have learned. After the challenge one of the girls falls ill from food poisoning and the resulting dehydration and she is rushed to the hospital though she returns back in time for the photo shoot.
The four remaining models are sent on their 'go-see' challenge where they must meet with four designers and buy them appropriate gifts- a local custom.
The final three contestants are visited by Jay Manuel and told that they will be doing their photoshoot and commercial for Cover Girl mascara. The three models each show strengths and weaknesses during the challenge and Jade ends up being eliminated after her commercial and tendancy to be outspoken are criticized.
