There's a bombing at the Hump bar and the wives struggle with the aftermath. Amanda is killed in the bombing. Roxy has trouble dealing with Trevor being gone.
Joan struggles to decide whether to keep the baby or terminate her pregnancy. Roxy takes in Betty when she is released from the hospital.
Claudia Joy continues to struggle with dealing with Amanda's death. Emmalin talks with Roland and he encourages her to reach out to her mother which she does. Claudia Joy teaches Emmalin to drive a stick shift. Denise bonds with a patient.
Trevor is injured. Betty wants to rebuild the bar and Roxy gets another job.
Trevor returns home as a war hero, but he feels conflicted about this title. Frank, in Iraq, worries about Denise's independence.
Claudia Joy talks to a soldier whose daughter is having difficulty dealing with her mother's deployment to Iraq. The town is beginning to gossip about Denise and Getty. Meanwhile, Pamela is thinking about taking a job at a different radio station. Betty leaves Roxy's to go to a special cancer treatment center.
Roxy prepares for the re-opening of the bar. Joan goes in for a check-up on her pregnancy. Trevor gets reprimanded by Holden for his behavior in a recent interview. Jeremy returns to town and Emmalin deals with her grief over her sister's death.
Roland talks to Denise about her friendship with Getty. Getty kisses Denise. Roland is fired over suspicions of inappropriate behavior with a student. Roxy hires a waitress, who later comes onto Trevor. Pamela is determined to clear Chase's name when he is arrested. Claudia Joy and Michael discuss the possibility of having another baby.
Denise tries to figure out what to do about her relationship with Getty. Trevor starts work as Joan's driver. Joan goes to lamaze class. Claudia Joy worries about Emmalin.
Joan is restricted to bed rest with pregnancy complications. Frank returns home to fix things with Denise, but sees her at the hospital with Getty and figures out what was going on. Roxy struggles with class. Another wife makes a pass at Pamela. Roland catches a student with some drugs and Joan's replacement does a search at the school to find out who is using drugs. Quinn, Emmalin's boyfriend is caught bringing drugs onto post.
Roxy is worried about Trevor's prescription drug use. She also takes her GED test and passes. Claudia Joy's mother arrives unexpected and when Claudia Joy's father calls, Claudia Joy learns her mother has left her father because he has a gambling problem.
Roxy throws a shower for Roland, meanwhile she's worried about Trevor's drug use. Claudia Joy tries to get her parents back together and Denise and Frank start counseling.
Roland discovers Trevor's addiction and tells Joan, who sends him to an administrative position. An old friend visits the Holdens and makes unwanted advances on Claudia Joy. Pamela's stalker contacts her children. After saying an emotional farewell to their son, Denise and Frank separate. Joan has complications with the pregnancy and delivers the baby leaving her life in jeopardy. Trevor crashes the car.
Trevor tells Roxy about his accident and promises he's not going to use the pain pills anymore, but at the hospital he steals some pain medication. He tells Roxy about it and they decide he needs more help.
