Episode 1. Pilot (Air Date: 11/02/2003)

Michael Bluth, ready to remove himself from the company business after being passed over for a promotion, has to take charge of the business when the family patriarch is arrested.

Episode 2. Top Banana (Air Date: 11/09/2003)

Michael tries to preserve the company in the face of George Sr's absence. Problems arise when Michael promotes his son at the banana stand culminating in the burning of the banana stand.

Episode 3. Bringing Up Buster (Air Date: 11/16/2003)

George Michael auditions for the school play so that he can make time with Maeby. His efforts and the play are thwarted by Tobias' direction. Buster moves in with Michael and tries to break free of his mother's influence.

Episode 4. Key Decisions (Air Date: 11/23/2003)

Michael's brother asks him to accompany his girlfriend to an event as he works on a magic trick. Lucille goes head to head with her nemesis.

Episode 5. Charity Drive (Air Date: 11/30/2003)

Michael and Lyndsay put aside their differences in an attempt to get revenge on Lucille. George-Michael makes headway with Maeby at a charity event. Buster finds himself alienated from his mother because of his relationship with her foil.

Episode 6. Visiting Ours (Air Date: 12/07/2003)

Michael's attempt at getting company information out of his father during a visit is foiled by his father's focus on prison softball. Gob's attempt at getting company information out of his father's secretary ends with Gob getting the secretary instead. Lucille provides George with a conjugal visit. Maeby worries about her parent's marriage.

Episode 7. In God We Trust (Air Date: 12/14/2003)

George Sr. decides to use the holiday season as a chance to break out of prison.

Episode 8. My Mother, the Car (Air Date: 12/21/2003)

A car accident leads to Lucille showing high signs of road rage. Buster and the other Lucille share their first date. George-Michael and Maeby decide to secret themselves into a movie with an R-rating.

Episode 9. Storming the Castle (Air Date: 01/04/2004)

Michael has a change in heart about breaking up Gob and Marta. George Sr. has a religious epiphany after spending time in solitary confinement. Lucille tries to understand her son's relationship with "the other Lucille."

Episode 10. Pier Pressure (Air Date: 01/11/2004)

George-Michael's adverse reaction to an A- causes Lindsay to question Michael on his parenting. Buster believes that Lucille would benefit from medicinal marijuana and looks to George-Michael for help. Maeby is forced to spend a day with Lucille because of her grades.

Episode 11. Public Relations (Air Date: 01/25/2004)

A private school's rejection of George-Michael causes Michael to try to improve the Bluth name. Tobias opts to go back to Boston and take up his medical license.

Episode 12. Marta Complex (Air Date: 02/08/2004)

Michael's Valentine's Day speech commemorating Tobias and Lindsay's love earns him the admiration of Marta, but also makes Lindsay realize she's not happy in the relationship. Buster decides to move out leaving Lucille to bask in the alone time.

Episode 13. Beef Consomme (Air Date: 02/15/2004)

Michael seeks Gob's permission to date Marta. George Sr. faces his arraignment. Lindsay and Tobias confront body issues.

Episode 14. Shock and Aww (Air Date: 03/07/2004)

Both Michael and his son are enamored by the latter's ethics teacher. George Michael tells his dad about his feelings, leaving Michael in a ethical bind. Lucille adopts a foreign teen.

Episode 15. Staff Infection (Air Date: 03/14/2004)

Michael forces his family into jobs to make up for the paychecks they've been receiving for doing no work at all. Buster and Gob's onsite throw down turns construction into destruction.

Episode 16. Altar Egos (Air Date: 03/17/2004)

Michael's one night stand turns out to be the attorney prosecuting his father's case. Gob gets married on a dare. George Sr. learns that he's attracted the affections of an undercover agent.

Episode 17. Justice is Blind (Air Date: 03/21/2004)

Michael is faced with a moral dilemma when he ends up with his father's file and has to decide whether to come clean with Maggie or not. Gob takes the file from Michael and convinces Tobias to break into Maggie's house. Lindsay fights against the Ten Commandments. Michael learns that Maggie's dog is blind.

Episode 18. Missing Kitty (Air Date: 03/28/2004)

George Michael takes an interest in Gob's magic when he states that he will make a yacht vanish. Lindsay finds out that Lucille hid their grandmother's death from the children so that she could keep the inherited money for herself. Michael wants to fire Kitty but worries that she may know too much damning information about the family.

Episode 19. Best Man for the GOB (Air Date: 04/04/2004)

An attempt to catch George Sr's accountant in a possible blackmail situation at Gob's bachelor party sours when the cake holds a surprise for all. Michael and George-Michael go fishing. The Funke Family Folk band reunites.

Episode 20. Whistler's Mother (Air Date: 04/11/2004)

Michael must figure out what to do with Bluth funds released by the Securities and Exchange Commission. Michael questions Lucille's treatment of Buster. Lindsay's attempt at war protest goes awry.

Episode 21. Not Without My Daughter (Air Date: 04/25/2004)

Michael brings Maeby along for Take My Daughter to Work Day. Lindsay finds retail work. Michael comes under accusation for Kitty's disappearance. Tobias takes up arms as a security guard. Buster attempts soccer, but plays against children.

Episode 22. Let 'Em Eat Cake (Air Date: 06/06/2004)

Tobias discovers that a book he wrote years ago has become a hot commodity in the gay community. George Sr's heart attack leads to an escape attempt. Buster and Annyong try to meet ladies.
