The police decide that Kelly acted in self-defense when she shot the man who raped her, but they still want to prosecute her for the theft of the gun.

When Gina accidentally sets Donna's new men's line on fire, Donna has to scramble to put together a line of clothes for the show. Dylan plans to return to school, and Steve prepares for fatherhood.

Matt and Kelly's relationship is strained when Matt's brother asks him for a personal favor. Noah and Dylan have problems now that Dylan has turned in Noah's drug using friends. Meanwhile, Steve and Janet learn that their nanny is not as innocent as she seems.

After Noah is kidnapped by his drug dealing friends, Dylan gets a ransom note. Kelly and Matt find a rift in their relationship after appearing on a game show.

Tragedy strikes Donna's family, which has repercussions for Gina too. Gina questions whether she should stay in Beverly Hills. Kelly looks into a career in public relations. Special Musical Guest: Beth Hart.

Dylan doesn't know what to believe when he sees a television news story about a man who resembles his father who has been assumed dead for the past seven years. Kelly is conflicted in her new P.R. job. Noah falls "off the wagon" and Donna comes to his aid.


Matt joins Dylan in the search for his father. Donna encourages Noah to go back to AA. Steve's brother, Ryan, comes for a visit and reveals that he's quit college.


Steve tries to get Ryan back in college. Dylan's father explains that he's been in the witness protection program for the past seven years. David gets an interview for a radio station in New York. Kelly does public relations for Donna's fashion show. Donna realizes she still has feelings for David.

Dylan and Matt go dirt-biking and end up at a desert rave. Kelly enlists Maddy in an advertising campaign. Noah and a mystery woman from his AA meetings have a budding romance.

Kelly has to deal with the aftermath of her boyfriend cheating on her at a party. Donna decides to put her clothing store on the internet. Featured music: Edwin McCain


Problems arise when Donna's web site developer wants more from her than she's ready to give. David starts to question his relationship with Camille when she begins modeling for Donna's web site. Matt struggles whether or not to keep his affair hidden from Kelly.

Kelly has to make a decision about her relationship with Matt due to his possible move to Seattle. Steve and Janet contemplate selling their paper. Donna and David fight their romantic feelings for each other as they try to keep thier relationship strictly a friendship.

Kelly thinks that Dylan may have died in a surfing accident and is forced to reevaluate her feelings for him. This leaves Matt feeling left out. David proposes to Donna.
