The contestants arrive at the house and meet their preselected "soul-mate" partners. The first challenge consists of one partner, suspended from the ceiling holding up the other partner. The last couple to hang on has the power to eliminate one couple. Jen and Parker make a deal with Natalie and Matt and Jen and Parker win the contest.
Sheila and Adam fight over the way he refers to the special needs children he works with. Someone calls Parker a snake and he's determined to learn who it is.
Allison is not happy about Ryan's secret and doesn't want to help Jen. Amanda reveals some personal information about her father's death. Nervous that Allison will reveal Jen and Ryan's secret, Jen and Parker begin telling their housemates the truth. Alex and Amanda nominate Ryan & Allison and Jen & Parker for elimination.
Joshuah's partner, Neil, leaves the house to deal with a personal matter, allowing Joshuah to bring back the evicted Sharon to be his partner. Alex is resentful of Parker's friendship with Amanda. Matt and Natalie win the PoV competition, but decide not to rescue either of the nominated couples.
Amanda's gossiping leads to a major fight among the house guests. Jen spreads a rumor that Ryan is racist, but Sheila tells Ryan about the rumor and he denies it.
James and Chelsia agree to keep Matt and Natalie safe. The contestants have their first food competition and team "Sea-duction" (Joshuah, Sharon, Ryan, Allison, Matt and Natalie) wins. Allison and Sheila admit to Chelsia that they made up the lesbian story. Matt and Natalie and Alex and Amanda are nominated and Matt is furious that James double-crossed him.
Allison and Sheila talk, Sheila feels like they aren't friends anymore. For the Power of Veto competition the teams must connect cables to power a generator correctly. Sharon and Joshuah win. Allison complains of an allergic reaction and Amanda passes out. Sharon and Joshua decide not to use the Power of Veto.
The house guests all look out for Amanda after her collapse, making sure that she is eating enough. Natalie and Matt talk to their friends trying to ensure enough votes to stay in the house. Julie talks to the house guests. Alex and Amanda are voted out. For the new HoH competition the contestants must correctly name the source of love quotes placed around the house. Joshuah and Sharon win.
Joshuah continues to argue with Allison. James tells him to calm down, but Joshuah insists that she started it. He tells everyone how upset he is about the fact that she lied about her sexuality.
Matt believes he and Natalie are safe because the target is Allison. Natalie and Matt win the PoV competition. Sheila and Adam fight about losing the PoV competition. Matt and Natalie have a talk about improving their tense relationship. Joshuah and Sharon put Sheila and Adam on the block.
Matt makes promises to both teams nominated for elimination, but James calls him on it. Allison and Ryan are voted out, but when they try to leave they find that the door is locked.
Adam and Matt are glad to be without partners, but James worries that his closest ally is now his enemy. Joshuah shows his spiritual side. James and Chelsia admit their feelings to each other. Ryan, Matt and James form an alliance. Matt, James, Ryan and Natalie win the food competition. Chelsia and Sharon are nominated for elimination.
Natalie and Joshuah convince Ryan he should put Matt up for elimination. Natalie spills the plan to Matt and he starts plotting a way to get ahead of the others. Chelsia comes out of the PoV game with the Veto. Chelsia uses her veto leaving Ryan and James on the block.
Chelsia fights with Ryan and Matt and Ryan and Joshuah reassert their alliance. Sheila and Natalie decide it might be a good idea to evict Sharon. The house guests get to see where the evicted house guests are now before Julie announces that America has chosen to bring back Alex.
For the HoH competition, the house guests must hang from disco balls. Knowing she can't make it much longer, Natalie makes a deal with James and then drops letting James become the HoH. Matt gives Natalie a massage. Ryan goes to talk with James and try to keep James from nominating him. Ryan and Sheila are nominated for elimination.
James tries to figure out the identity of the third person who voted against him. Shelia worries about the PoV competition and the rest of the house guests make fun of her. For the competition, the teams must walk along balance beams transporting blocks. James wins the PoV competition. Sharon tells James that Matt was the third person to vote against him. James uses his veto on Sheila and puts Matt on the block instead.
Matt breaks down in tears about being nominated. Adam encourages Matt to fight to stay even though Ryan is campaigning against him. Sheila considers changing her vote.
Adam isn't very excited about winning HoH. Natalie is sad over Matt's departure. Sharon loves the House guinea pigs. Instead of a food competition, the house guests compete in a luxury competition to win a chance to see the premiere of "21.
Sheila complains to Adam and Natalie about Chelsia and James. Sheila, Joshuah, Chelsia and Sharon enjoy the screening of "21" that they won and Chelsia finds the winning ticket for the $21,000 VIP trip to Las Vegas.
The house guest dye Easter eggs. Chelsia decides to go out with a bang and smashes all the colored eggs. Julie comes in and asks the house guests some random questions and then talks with HoH, Adam. The house guests all vote to evict Chelsia. The house guests play Big Brother Election where they must correctly answer questions poised by viewers in order to win the HoH. Natalie wins the competition and is the new HoH.
James tries to come up with a new game plan to stay in the game. He talks with HoH Natalie about her intentions. Joshuah tells Sheila how he came out to his parents.
Sheila gives both James and Joshuah pep talks before the PoV competition, but James overhears Sheila's talk to Joshuah. James confronts Sheila. James breaks down and cries when talking with Joshuah about Sheila's betrayal. James wins the PoV. Joshuah cries, knowing that Natalie will put up Sharon, which she does.
Joshuah works to convince the house guests not to vote him out. Sharon and Natalie have a talk and Sharon promises if Natalie helps her stay, she will have Natalie's back the next week. Joshuah's mother reveals that she's been surprised by his behavior. Joshuah is voted out and Sharon cries when he leaves. Adam wins the HoH competition.
The contestants talk about their strategy for the week. The house guests win the grill in the food competition. Ryan and Natalie try to convince Adam he has to put James on the block. James goes to make a plea for his safety. James has an emotional breakdown and Adam takes pity on him and tells him he's safe for the week. Adam nominates Sharon and Sheila.
Sheila yells at Adam for putting her on the block. Adam apologizes to his teammates for not putting James up; he regrets it. Ryan wins the Power of Veto. Ryan decides to save Sheila and Adam replaces her with James.
James begins campaigning against Natalie. Sharon's parents talk about how she's doing in the game. The house guests in the jury house give their opinions on the game. Sharon and James give their pleas for staying in the house. The house guests vote James out. The house guests must hang from a rope inside a box. The last one hanging on will be the new HoH.
Sharon drops out of the HoH competition first, hoping she'll win the PoV instead. Natalie finally drops, allowing Sheila to win the HoH. Sheila tells Sharon and Adam her plan and Adam agrees to be put on the block so Sheila can backdoor Natalie. Sheila convinces Ryan to use his PoV on Adam if he wins it. Sheila puts Sharon and Adam on the block.
Adam is worried about being nominated. Sheila and Natalie both console him. The contestants have a puzzle to put together for the PoV competition. Adam puts it together in the shortest amount of time and wins the PoV. The house guests throw a surprise birthday party for Sheila. Adam removes himself from the block and Sheila replaces him with Natalie.
Adam and Ryan want a house meeting, but Natalie is dying her hair and refuses to come, so they bring everyone else to the bathroom and have the meeting there.
Ryan is upset that Adam reveals to Natalie that Ryan voted to evict her. The house guests learn that there is another pre-existing relationship in the house. Sharon grabs Ryan to be her teammate for the Luxury competition leaving Sheila and Adam as a team. Ryan and Sharon win the competition and Adam and Sheila are stuck together for 24 hours. Ryan puts Sheila and Sharon on the block.
Sharon tries to console Sheila and Ryan tries to convince Adam that they need to eliminate Sheila. Adam tells Sheila he will protect her. Ryan wins the PoV competition. Adam tries to make a deal with Sharon, but she won't committ. Ryan decides not to use his PoV and Adam votes Sharon off. The remaining three contestants begin their battle for the final HoH spot.
Ryan reveals that the plan had been to evict Sheila, but at the last minute Adam convinced him that Sharon was a stronger player and should be the one to go. Sheila gives up first in the HoH competition and Adam lets Ryan win the first round. Adam wins the second round. Ryan wins the third round making him the final HoH. He chooses to evict Sheila, leaving Adam and Ryan to compete for the big prize.
The seven players in the jury house discuss the eviction of Sheila and who of the two remaining contestants, Adam or Ryan, played the game better. The jury questions Adam and Ryan. The jury members vote and then Julie talks to each of them. Adam wins, while James wins the special prize of $25,000 as America's favorite juror.
