The day begins at 8:00am. It's Alice and Danny's wedding day, and things quickly become complicated by their friends and family. Skobo can't see, Jane changed the salad, Alice's ex makes Danny uneasy, and Alice's father tells Alice she shouldn't marry Danny.
Danny's free-spirited father who calls himself "The Garf" arrives. He gives Mother of the bride Jane a foot massage which gives her an orgasm. Skobo, who can't see, talks bad about Becca in front of her. Becca decides to retaliate.
It begins to rain, so they decide to move the wedding indoors. Becca and Skobo each try to get the other banned from the wedding. Danny tries to settle their conflict with a method he uses with his campers. Skobo reveals that he and Alice made out when they were kids.
Danny, Steve, Johnny, Skobo and Freddy make a sneak stop at a strip club after picking up their tuxes; Lorna makes a dirty deal with a rival wedding planner to secure a replacement wedding tent; and Alice bets all of her wedding gifts in a childhood board game with Becca.
When Danny learns his island honeymoon has been taken over by rebels, he begs Skobo to use his connections to book the perfect nuptial getaway. Meanwhile Garf has a dream that Steve dies before his daughter's wedding ceremony, and Alice worries her vows wont measure up to Danny's.
When Danny realizes he dances better with Jane then Alice, he wonders if he is attracted to Jane's mom. Becca is upset that her father doesn't have any happy memories of her.
Skobo loses the wedding rings. Steve is called into the hospital on emergency so Danny and Becca take him in. Danny makes friends with everyone on staff and Becca hits on a doctor. Jane fires Lorna. Alice is intimidated when her bridesmaids arrive.
After Jane finds out that 40 additional people from Steve's staff have been invited to the wedding, she re-hires Lorna. An ongoing feud with the neighbors threatens the wedding when the kids attack with paintballs and the party clown steals Alice's wedding dress.
Steve forces Lorna to tell him how much the wedding is really costing. When he finds out, he starts making major wedding cuts. Alice and Danny have a pre-marital meeting with the minister and decide to fire him. Danny sends Skobo and Becca on a hunt to find a gift for Alice.
Jane's ex-boyfriend shows up and Steve gets jealous. Shampagne, the stripper from the bachelor party shows up so Steve invites her to the wedding. Becca's doctor date shows up early and Skobo gets jealous. Lorna hires a new photographer who happens to be her ex-fiance. Alice can't find anyone to help her put on her dress. Danny begins to get cold feet.
It's time for pictures and everything is going wrong. Jane is stoned. Garf find out that Steve told Alice not to marry Danny. Freddy and Johnny tell Danny and Alice how they really feel. Skobo and Becca fight, and then make up in the car. Alice and Danny consider eloping.
Alice and Danny's car breaks down and they wind up in a seedy bar. While waiting to hear from Alice and Danny, Lorna and Jane try to stall the wedding. Becca and Skobo challenge each other in a game of truth or dare. Alice and Danny finally return just as Jane and Steve are about to renew their vows and Becca and Skobo have dared each other to get married.
