Sam hires Kevin McHale of the Boston Celtics as a substitute bartender so he can use him in a basketball game against Gary.

Episode 3. Rebecca Redux (Air Date: 10/04/1990)

Sam is pleased when everyone likes the new bar manager he has hired, but then feels guilty when Rebecca starts desperately looking for a new job.


When one of Robin's ex-girlfriends claims to be his current girlfriend, Rebecca finds herself jealous.

Cliff's mother hurts him when she starts to think of Woody as the son she should have had. Norm finds himself stuck in a window.

Episode 6. Grease (Air Date: 10/25/1990)

Norm tries to prevent the closing of the Hungry Heifer Restaurant. Rebecca worries about Robin when he works on a road gang near Cheers.

Episode 7. Breaking in is Hard to Do (Air Date: 11/01/1990)

Carla helps Rebecca in her plan for a conjugal visit with Robin in jail. The Cranes worry when their son requires more and more of their attention.

When a snob buys the building, Sam starts a war against the upstairs restaurant's new owner.

Woody is excited to be cast in a vegetable drink commercial. Cliff finds himself no longer the provider of trivia when the bar gets new trivia napkins.


Norm and Cliff decide to create a feud between Sam and Frasier. Woody finds himself addicted to home shopping channels.

Woody is upset when Kelly returns from Europe with a new boyfriend. Cliff considers cryogenically freezing his head when he dies.

While dying, Carla's mother requests Carla name one of her children Benito Mussolini.

Episode 13. Achilles Hill (Air Date: 01/10/1991)

Carla thinks the foosball table is possessed. Sam dates John Hill's daughter in an effort to end his feud with Hill.


When Robin proposes marriage, Rebecca reacts by overindulging in partying. Frasier gets hooked on karaoke.

Sam tries to remind Rebecca of her lingering doubts about marrying Robin on her wedding day. Frasier is outperformed by Bobby Hatfield of The Righteous Brothers.
