Hilton falls asleep watching “I Spy” and the next thing he knows, Alexander Scott (Cosby) and Kelly Robinson (Robert Culp) are back in action. It's mother against daughter on the links when Ruth teaches Erica how to play golf---and becomes obsessed with the thought of losing to her. Griffin finds it difficult to deal with the return of his father (Chuck Cooper), who abandoned him 15 years ago, and the hurtful situation adversely affects his relationship with Rebecca (Nicole Ari Parker). Griffin: Doug E. Doug. Hilton: Bill Cosby.


Hilton is shocked when he meets a homeless man (Douglas Turner Ward) and realizes he is a former classmate.


Erica and Griffin attempt to help a 12-year-old foster child (Tavia Rivee Jefferson) who keeps getting bounced around from family to family. Himself: Frank McCourt. Herself: Sonia Sanchez.
